the room was spacious, clean, and just as shown in the pictures. The staff was super friendly and even made us an earlier breakfast sandwich for our early dive course. the location was convenient too.
Slight annoyance with early morning construction noise.

The room was consistently clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the separate shower was a unique feature. The location was convenient, a short distance from bars and restaurants near the pier and a 15-minute walk to Sairee beach. great value for money and would return if back in the area.

Clean and convenient location near the pier. Helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond to assist with visa extension and provided scooter for transportation. Comfy and clean rooms with access to Netflix on the TV for downtime.
Uncomfortable pillows and bathroom setup with frosted glass and gaps in the wall. Lack of 24/7 community area and a closed bar at times.

The staff were super friendly, the room had a mind-blowing large fridge, the air conditioning worked jaw-droppingly well. The little lounge areas outside the rooms were amazing! The location was just perfect, away from the business but close to everything we needed!

Our stay at Ava Hostel & Guesthouse was fantastic. The location was ideal, with easy access to the ferry port and a short walk to the beautiful Sairee beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and we even had a sofa for some extra relaxation. We were impressed by the helpful and friendly staff, especially the lady who went out of her way to assist us with extending our visas and even let us borrow her scooter. We also appreciated the affordable laundry service and the ability to log into Netflix on the TV. we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hostel to others.
The only minor issues we encountered were some noise from nearby construction and a slight inconvenience with the building work starting early. However, these were short-term and did not greatly affect our overall enjoyment of our stay.

The decoration of the hotel was charming and had a cozy feel, perfect for senior people like me. The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it accessible for seniors. I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel that made it feel like a home away from home.
The only thing I would ask for is more assistance from the children working there, especially for senior people.

I had a great stay at Ava Hostel & Guesthouse. The private room I stayed in was spacious with plenty of surfaces and good lighting. The AC and TV were a nice touch, and the modern and quirky design of the hotel made it feel fresh and new. The location was convenient, just a short 4-minute uphill walk from the pier, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
In terms of drawbacks, I did notice a damp and stale smell in the room, although it improved slightly with the AC on. There were also some issues with the water randomly going off while showering or washing hands.

The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful decorations that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for me as a senior person.
It would have been even better if there were more comfortable seating options in the communal areas, as the benches were a bit hard for extended periods of sitting.
